Week 48 – Alabama Birmingham Mission

Northport, Alabama

800 Energy Center Blvd Apt. 205

Northport, AL 35473

First off let me tell you about Wednesday. Incident #1 My closet was leaking water so my carpet was all wet. #2 It was 500 degrees #3 Someone rear ended us (luckily it just left a little scratch) #4 I was attacked by a pitbull! Luckily it was just a cute little pit puppy 🙂

Its weird how hard it is to remember what actually happened this week. Pretty much all of out appointments either cancelled or weren’t there. We found some new people with a lot of potential so we’re hoping they let us back in.

We had interviews this week and they went really well. President Sainsbury is a great guy and always has great insight and advice.

We did service at a ladies house who just moved to Tuscaloosa. It was pretty humbling to see how happy this lady was to have her own house in Tuscaloosa and how much potential she saw in the house. When we got there we thought it was an abandoned house and that we had the wrong address. We helped her paint and helped her clean up the piles of clothes that were in one of the rooms. The kids got hold of my camera..

We did a combined district meeting with the other district here in Tuscaloosa.

One night there was a guy sitting off on the curb talking to himself and smoking a cigarette and I judged him and assumed he was on drugs or something. But we walked over and talked with him and he was actually a really nice guy. He showed interest in wanting to come to church and wanted to meet up the next day. He gave us his phone number but it was either the wrong phone number or he was on something and didn’t remember meeting us the night before. I’m gonna assume the first haha but don’t judge people you never know what they’re going through!

14 ¶ Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lordthat it shall no more be said,

The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

15 But, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the no

rthand from all the landswhither he had driven them: and will bring them again

into their land that gave unto their fathers.

16 ¶ Behold, will send for many fisherssaith the Lordand they shall fish them;

and after will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every

 mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

Jeremiah 16: 14-16

Hopefully I have some more people to talk about next week.

Love y’all
