Nick Saben’s Door

Honestly I’m so tired right now and can barely remember what happened this week.

We found Nick Sabens address online (creepy right?) and went and knocked on it. Nobody was home but I knocked on Nick Sabens door which is a pretty cool thing to say. People worship him here.

“It ain’t the heat, its the humility”

First off let me tell you about Wednesday. Incident #1 My closet was leaking water so my carpet was all wet. #2 It was 500 degrees #3 Someone rear ended us (luckily it just left a little scratch) #4 I was attacked by a pitbull! Luckily it was just a cute little pit puppy 🙂

200% Humid

As I’m sure many of you know, it was Cow Appreciation Day on Tuesday. The Sisters had us take care of a mouse in their apartment in exchange for cow spots for free chick fil a. Totally worth it!

Week 46

I’ll get straight to the point. This week we had zone conference and exchanges. So we spent a lot of time outside of our area. Zone conference is always a great time to think about how you can improve as a missionary. We talked a lot about our studies and becoming better planners.

The Calvins had us over for dinner on the 4th of July and we got to spend some time with them. They’re such a nice family! We were gonna try to see some fireworks but ended up just going home so I saw 0 fireworks this year.

RIP Elder Honn

Elder Honn had been saving a suit to burn in celebration of finishing his mission so we thought of which member would let us burn something in their backyard and the Brannons came to mind and they happily had us over.
We drove to Birmingham with 3 seats filled but came back with only 2 filled. Elder Honn is now gone.

Also my first companion Elder Matthews finished his mission. It’s crazy it’s almost been a year since I got here!
