Week 36 – Alabama Birmingham Mission
800 Energy Center Blvd Apt. 205
Northport, AL 35473
Its been a busy week here in Northport! Our hard work is paying off though. We have some great people to follow up with this week. It’s heating up hear in Alabama and I already know I’m not ready for summer. 90 degrees is hot enough! The humidity is killer, the shade is just as hot as in the sun.
Here’s me on a random horse in the middle of the projects
I’ve learned a lot this week. Particularly about the Plan of Salvation, the perfect plan that was created before the foundation of the world. My studies have gotten more interesting as I’ve begun to study Jesus the Christ. I spoke at the funeral of a child who died shortly after birth and was able to share that their child is saved through the atonement of Jesus Christ.
17 And I am filled with charity, which is everlasting love; wherefore, all children are alike unto me; wherefore, I love little children with a perfect love; and they are all alike and partakers of salvation.
We also taught Taylor the Plan of Salvation on Tuesday and had an amazing lesson, she cried! She’s committed to be baptized on the 13th of May! and she came to church and seemed to enjoy it and made new friends 🙂 She’s the one on the right.
Also last night Shellie and Crystal from Starkville were driving through Northport so we met up and talked for a little while, they’re awesome!
Last night we were leaving to a dinner appointment and I said to Elder Tausinga, “If the church is true we’ll get fed tacos.”
We got fed tacos.
The church is true.
1 And now, it came to pass that after Abinadi had spoken these words he stretched forth his hand and said: The time shall come when all shall see the salvation of the Lord; when every nation, kindred, tongue, and people shall see eye to eye and shall confess before God that his judgments are just.
